در شروع انتخابات دور اول مجلس نیز این فدراسیون نشست خبری با حضور اكثریت خبرنگاران رسانه های تخصصی ورزشی، صداو سیما و روزنامه های كثیر الانتشار به بهانه تشریح وضعیت فدراسیون ترتیب داد.

از آنجا كه فدراسیون های ورزشی در ایران به صورت مستقل توانایی گرداندن خود را ندارند و از طریق كمیته ملی المپیك و وزارت ورزش و جوانان بودجه مورد نیاز برای ادامه حیات خود را تامین می كنند، استفاده از امكانات فدراسیون برای رقابت انتخاباتی محل تامل است.
